BNS Couture by Bina Sultan at the Pakistan Fashion Extravaganza 2010 in London

Here's the collection by BNS Couture by Bina Sultan, as seen at this year's Pakistan Fashion Extravagaza which took place in London in May. Unlike a lot of the other designers at this event, there wasn't a set colour theme to the collection, and I thought it was nice to see a mix of bright colours, dark colours and some great colour combinations.

Many thanks to photographer Shahid Malik for use of these photos.

It was nice to see an outfit that wasn't all about the long flowing look and layering. I like the hints of green in here too

  2. lol the claws are out! I don't think there's anything wrong with the models, and from the backstage photos I've seen I think the designers were very happy with them too!

  6. wasn't expecting this to turn into a big critique of the models, but all it takes is one comment :) I've already posted my views but I'd like to add that I've seen a lot of these models in other shows - perhaps they were chosen for this one because of their professionalism and experience?

  7. Isnt this supposed to be Asian Fashion Blog - Not Asian Model Blog....
Comment on the clothes...not the models.

  8. wow....catty
But seriously, professional asian models are hard to find, and a lot of these ladies probably behaved themselves and walked like models instead of teenagers who are playing Britain's Next Top Model and throwing their hips about like they are at a club.

Anyways, as for the FASHIONS, that short dress is actually pretty nice. Normally when I see an asian girl without pants I feel a little uncomfortable like maybe she left part of her outfit at home, but there's something about the cut and colour of that knee-length design that works.

  9. These models are great. if you saw them walk you would know. and they are the most experianced out of a very small bunch of asian models in the uk.
