Here's the collection from Southall based Mongas, showcased at the 2011 Asiana Bridal Show in London which took place at the end of January.
I'm actually quite a fan of Mongas and although I've never shopped there I like the style of their designs. Like Roshans, most of their outfits were the in traditional reds.

I really liked the two gowns/maxi dresses above, and it was good to see one of the outfits styled to completely cover the model's hair - a must for any bride who wears hijab.
In terms of colours choices, there was a bit of variety with the two outfits above, but personally I would have liked to more colours on their catwalk.
So, that was their collection for Asiana fashion show, (a big thanks to Rafyl Photography and J Dhillon Photography for these photos) but that they also had live models in their exhibition space and I got a chance to take a few photos there too.
I'm not sure if they changed the outfits during the day, but when I visited this red bridal was the stand-out piece. For anyone interested, this outfit is priced at £2500. I also quite like the green churidar suit which you can also see in this pic.

I, like you, was a fan of Monga's having never actually brought anything from them. I'm now not a fan having brought my wedding lengha from them and it being a complete disaster. They make you sign something that says if things go wrong then you can't take legal action and make you pay up front...hindsight really is a wonderful thing. Wish I'd have just taken the design and got it made from someone else. It literally ruined my wedding.
