RDC open the Asiana Bridal Show London 2012

As promised, here are some more photos from the Asiana Bridal Show 2012 which took place on the 29th January at the Park Plaza Riverbank in London. RDC opened the show with this array of Pakistani style long flowing outfits.
A massive thanks to Studio 4 Photography for these photos.

I really liked this first outfit, very elegant, I like the jacket-style and I think red and purple is a very popular colour combination.
I managed to get take a decent photo of the back of this red and silver outfit:

This pink and purple colour combination is another of my favourites although the embroidery on the top looks really heavy, if I was going to order this, personally I'd go for a lighter top.

This collection was definitely a departure compared to the fusion-style fitted outfits which RDC usually showcase, and after further inspection and scratching my head thinking "haven't I seen that before..." it looks like RDC have been working with Pakistani designer Shazia's Bridal Gallery on this collection (you can view photos from previous Shazia's Bridal fashion shows here: Pakistan Fashion Extravaganza, Montage Show)

RDC also closed the show with a collection that was more in their usual style - I'll be posting those photos soon!

  1. Adore the jacket styles also, great pics (and fab set design on the catwalk)

  2. I do love this style of their outfits more than their 'fusion' ones, but then I'm a traditionalist and I like the Pakistani-inspired styles! Also, RDC is right around the corner from me so I get to see their latest outfits all the time, and they do have some lovely pieces sometimes (can't say they're cheap though!)

  3. Guess the quality and design speaks for the price. You wouldn't mind paying a bit more when you know you can get a bespoke outfit or something classy..
