Here's the collection by Ekta Solanki as showcased at the 2012 Asiana Bridal Exhibition in London.
Although this collection didn't quite make the same impact as the Ekta Solanki collection from 2011, I still liked most of the outfits and can see why Ekta Solanki is so popular.
The two main colours featured in this collection were pink and green - a colour combination which I think works beautifully in the this next outfit:
I'm prone to a bit of hot pink, so it's no surprise that these next two outfits really appeal to me. Too much of one colour can be a little overwhelming and I've seen all-over hot pink done badly before, however in this case I think it works very well:
Out of all the outfits, this purple one below was probably my least favourite.
I don't really like this shade of green, so that put me off the finale outfit a little, however saying that, I still think this is a beautiful outfit.
Thank you to Studio 4 Photography for these photos.
What did you think of this collection? Did it match up to the 2011 show?

Superb collection Nazma and brilliant designs. Of all the desings, I like the first, but the dupatta is looking odd.
ReplyDeletewow...these are seriously gorgeous. I have trouble with some of the over the top designs that are coming out of the UK these days, but Ekta seems to be able to balance the desi-fusion look with grace.
