RDC at the 2013 Asiana Bridal Show London

RDC opened and closed the 2013 Asiana Bridal Show with their range of Pakistani-style and fusion-style asian bridal outfits so this is going to be a long post!

They started off with blue and pink colour combinations:

What do you think of this next outfit? Personally there's too much embroidery for my taste.

The next outfit stood out to me as it's not such an obvious colour choice.

The colours on this outfit came out a litte differently on my own camera:

Again with this outfit the colours aren't quite as I remember. The models performed a dance routine during this section and I just remember how much that tiny hint of green really stood out and made the outfit that little bit more special.

The music for the dancing section was the Panjabi Hit Squad and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan hit "Dil Mera" and this section of the show ended with models Sabeeka and Cameron who featured in the song's official music video!

From previous catwalks shows I've seen by RDC there have been lots of voluminous skirts, lenghas and dresses, and they displayed some these for their closing of the Asiana Bridal Show 2013:

This next outfit was another standout for me, but sadly I don't think the photo does it justice. It's quite unusual to see such dark colours on an asian bridal catwalk and although it may look black, the top was actually a very dark purple. The darkness of the top is balanced out by the light colour of the lengha and I think the whole look really worked.

This green outfit was another of my favourites, it has a very "less is more" feel with the embroidered jacket-style top and plainer gown beneath.

The show ended with a parade of red bridals:

RDC are based on Ilford Lane in East London, you can get in touch with them via the RDC Facebook page which is regularly updated.
