My favourite online store for window shopping, Pernia's Pop Up Shop, has created this Eid 2015 fashion inspiration guide, featured in their latest online magazine.
I personally don't know anyone that gets this dressed up for Eid, but I loved these images so just had to share them!
The first image for this campaign is this "jacket style" black and gold short shirt kurta top by Malasa. Although only the top half is shown, it comes with a matching black sharara. I must admit when I saw this styled differently on the product page, it didn't appeal as much, which goes to show how much a difference the styling can make, I love the jewellery choice - the tikka, nath and jhoomer really make to this outfit.
It's priced at £297*, more info here.
Next up is this pastel pink and floral churidar suit by Anju Modi. I am obsessed with florals right now so totally loved this. I also really liked the contrast of the deep red dupatta.
This one is £453*, more info here.
Another hot trend - capes! I've not come across many shorter capes like this one and I think the whole look works because the lengha is relatively plain at the top; had this been a fully-embroidered lengha it would just be too much. This shade of very pale, almost nude coloured, pink on its own doesn't appeal to me personally.
This lengha set is priced at £356*, more info here.
This image, featuring an ivory floral anarkali dress from Saumya and Bhavni Moda really caught my eye! I can picture this being worn by a bride for a small nikkah ceremony or other small wedding function. I love the draping of the dupatta and actually, when I saw the top of the dress in a different image - I didn't like it as much! Again great accessoring, from that statement ring to the necklace and jhoomer.
This dress is priced at £460*, more info here.
In my opinion, you just can't go wrong pairing green and gold and this separate gold gown-style top and green lengha from SVA Couture is a beautifully elegant example.
This dress comes as separates, with the top priced at £446* (link here) and the plain pleated lengha at £178* (link here)
Another from Malasa, this coral dress has proved so popular that it's now sold out on the website. You can't see it in this editorial photo, but the sheer back of this dress is gorgeous:
It was priced at £252, more info here.
This Anoli Shah anarkali dress has also sold out online! It's probably my least favourite out of all the 9 outfits, I'm just not sure about the cut-out at the front and 3/4 length sleeves. It looks good on the model but in the product photos it's a different story.
This one was priced at £325*, more info here.
Another Anju Modi outfit made the cut, with a hint of floral embroidery around the neckline, the real wow point for me is that gold block print border.
This outfit is priced at £295*, more info here.
The final outfit is this striking green and gold lengha set from Astha Narang. Outfits in this style make me happy that I've kept many of my shorter kameezes from years ago and I've been slowly re-introducing them into my wardrobe with new lenghas (pics here).
This lengha set is priced at £356*, more info here.

*These prices are taken from the Pernia's Pop Up Shop website at the time of publishing this post, from my endless browsing of the site I've noticed that the prices do fluctuate slightly, and it's also worth keeping in mind that if you're ordering from the UK, there will be additional customs and import charges to pay. I've ordered one outfit from Pernia's before, read my review here: My SVA anarkali dress.
