Eid 2017 Outfit Inspiration from Zara at Intu Trafford Centre

There's just 1 week left of Ramadan 2017, which means Eid is on the way! Last week I went off in search of some Eid outfit inspiration at Intu Trafford Centre. At the end of March, a Khaadi store opened in the shopping centre (click here to read my review!) but this wasn't the only store which offered up something for Eid, in fact even though I only went for a browse...I ended up buying my Eid outfit from Zara!

Read on to see more pics and to find out what Intu Trafford having coming up in their pre-Eid shopping event

Kimonos and floral jackets

My Eid celebrations tend to be pretty low-key, with the day spend visiting family and usually ending with a big meal at my parents' house, and even if we do go out then we're not the type to dress up like it's a wedding.

With this in mind, I was on the lookout for a printed kimono I could dress up with heels and accessories. My first stop was Zara and it was full of summery kimonos, tunics and cover ups:

I took a few items to the fitting room, and even with a pair of flats on and no accessories, the cream coloured jacket was a winner for me. The 2 button closure at the front, elastic detail under the chest and buttons on the sleeve gave this one more of a formal look compared to some of the other kimonos in store.

I snapped this up for £59.99 and started to plan accessories for my Eid look.

The Selfridges Sale started after my visit to Zara and my sister bought these beautiful red Valentino Rockstud shoes in red. I knew they'd be perfect for my outfit...

The rest of the styling I kept pretty simple, a plain vest and leggings underneath the gown and costume jewellery from my mum's jewellery box!

My Eid shopping trip to Zara didn't stop at the kimono though. I spotted this embroidered tulle top which reminded me of the sheer capes and tops by Indian designer Anamika Khanna.

Another floral Anamika Khanna cape, this one from Amazon India Fashion Week 2016.

I ended up buying this too, even though I've not quite figured out how to style it with my asian outfits, it looks pretty good with a pair of jeans!
