Traditions were up next on the catwalk at the Asiana Bridal Show London 2012. They started off with some white registry-style gowns and finished off with some red bridals. The International Asian Fashion Awards (or IAFA) returned to London for the second year running last month. Last month, London's Mint Leaf held host to a fashion show by Indian designers Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor in aid of the charity IIMPACT. The collection was called Phantom of the Opera and there was a very regal look to each outfit: The influence behind the collection was a vintage feel and this was reflected in the lace trimmings used, constructed embellished tops and heavily volumised lenghas.

Another name on the line-up at the Coventry Asian Wedding Exhibition which took place last month was up and coming designer Vikas Rattu. Here's the Winter/Festive 2011 Collection from Debarun Mukherjee as seen at Lakme Fashion week. The collection was called "Kohl" and most of the pieces were purely black and white.
