Shyamal and Bhumika at India Couture Week 2017

This week, The Fashion Design Council of India celebrated the 10th year of its Couture Week shows. I've been following on Instagram and Facebook and as much as it's about the clothes I always get lots of inspirations for outfit styling, hair and make-up looks.

Here's a closer look at the collection from Shyamal & Bhumika, which was captioned with the intro "The Princess calls for a soirée in reverence of her beautiful journeys to the world beyond"

I  loved the cape style jackets, especially the more dramatic ones like the voluminous one below!

There were a number of cold shoulder and off the shoulder looks in this collection too, shown alongside full sleeved evening gowns.

This was one of my favourites from the collection, the whole look is just so chic.

Most of these shows have a celebrity showstopper, and this time it was new actress Athiya Shetty.
